The founder and owner of Arthur Channon Incorporated Attorneys
Arthur was born in Standerton, Mpumalanga where he matriculated as head boy of Standerton High School in 1991. After completing his B. Proc. degree at the University of Pretoria in 1996, he spent three years in Scotland working for a reputable oil and gas company. After completing his articles and a number of years as a Director at a Pretoria Law Firm, Arthur founded his own firm in August 2009. The decision to start his own company was based on Arthur’s passion for people and his vision to run a company where people would not feel like a mere file reference but experience a client-attorney relationship based on trust, respect, understanding and practical guidance. It is based on this vision that Arthur manages his firm on a sound commitment to honesty, fairness, integrity and high ethical standards. His approach to work with people rather than with problems is one of his many recipes for success. Apart from being a lawyer, Arthur is also a husband and proud father of two.
Gerzan Robinson
Attorney, Notary & Conveyancer.
Gerzan is an admitted Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public and has been a valued member of the firm since 2013. She specialises in deceased estate administration, estate planning and trust law, bringing more than a decade of dedicated experience focused specifically on estate law.
Having obtained both her LLB and LLM (Estate Law) degrees from the University of Pretoria, Gerzan leads the firm’s estate, conveyancing and notarial department. She approaches every matter with care, patience and attention to detail, understanding that estate matters often arise during sensitive and emotional times for families. Her goal is to simplify complex legal processes and provide clients with clear guidance and peace of mind.

Orlandi Nel
Attorney.
Orlandi holds a B.Commerce degree in Law and an LLB degree from the University of Pretoria. She further obtained a distinction in an Advanced Labour Law Course at the University of Pretoria. She is a duly admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa and holds the right of appearance in the High Court. Her areas of practice include Estate Administration, Conveyancing, Labour Law, Trusts, Estate Litigation, and general litigation. Orlandi is recognised for her professional, client-focused approach and her ability to deliver efficient and pragmatic legal solutions. Michelle Meiring Rowles

Michelle started working as a Legal Secretary in 2005 and was the first employee of Arthur Channon Attorneys when the firm opened in 2009. She had completed her LLB degree with the University of South Africa in 2021 and thereafter was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2023. Her good interpersonal relationships, problem-solving and administrative skills stem from her experience of many years in the legal practice. Michelle has gained experience in civil litigation, family law, commercial law, third-party claims and estates. She is a highly skilled and invaluable individual, committed to delivering high-quality service whilst being passionate about developing long-term client relationships.

Marijke started working as a legal secretary in 2009 and has gained knowledge and experience in the legal field. Marijke is the first point of contact and creates a friendly, warm-hearted and professional impression making clients feel right at home. She fulfils the function of the day-to-day secretarial duties by managing files, drafting of correspondence, court documents and accounts. Marijke boasts enthusiasm, reliability and will go beyond the call of duty to assist any client. She further manages the office on a day to day basis assisting in all office related queries and needs.

Anke joined Arthur’s team in 2016 as a litigation assistant within the Family Law department. A mother of three, she is committed to ensuring the best interests of minor children are prioritised in all family law matters. Happy Koketso Chauke, recently became a part of Arthur Channon Team. He is a kind, caring and passionate person. He completed his matric in 2020. He studied Chemical Operation NQF1 and NQF2 at TSHEGOFENTSE Facilities from 2021 to 2023, with a year working experience from Comed Health Pharmaceutical Company. He is filled with enthusiasm to delve deeper into various facets of the legal profession and is committed to further broaden his knowledge across all fields of law. He is a hardworking person and dedicated to everything that comes his way. Growth in all aspects is what he desires, the top of the mountain is the bottom of the next one.

Nikita is a dedicated and detail-oriented assistant who began studying law in 2025 at Akademia. Ria joined Arthur Channon Attorneys in 2015 and is a senior bookkeeper with twenty years of experience. She is an energetic, adaptable and dedicated individual, with a will to succeed. She thrives in challenging and demanding environments and as a perfectionist, no task is too big or too small to complete well. She is flexible and as a self-starter, she works and performs equally well in a group or on her own. She works according to Norman Vincent Peale’s view: “Plan your work for today and every day, and then work your plan.”
